About this experience

Tucked beneath the cobbled streets of Alfama, this intimate cellar tasting has become one of Lisbon's most beloved experiences. Your host — a certified sommelier born and raised in the neighbourhood — guides you through five carefully chosen Portuguese wines, from a crisp Vinho Verde to a brooding Alentejo red.

Each pour is paired with traditional petiscos: cured presunto, aged queijo da serra, marinated olives, and house-made bacalhau croquettes. The stories behind each producer are as rich as the wines themselves.

Groups are kept intentionally small so every question gets answered and every glass gets topped up. You'll leave with a deeper understanding of Portugal's wine regions and a shopping list for the local wine merchant.
